VERY RARE 1951 Glasspar GP2 Historic race car
This was a true "barn find" in '08,
which for someone in the know, and/or into SOVREN, i.e., is ready to whoop-ass in & out of it's class !!!
Car is WICKED FAST at approx. 1900#s, Ford 390FE BB (well north of 410HP), 3-Spd(syncro 1st),
Ford 9-In RE, Drum Bks/manual(Race prep/Drill-Cooled). Car will qualify for most all current Historic/Vintage
and SCCA classes. Car was run in competition under various banners in Southeast US/Florida (Have original
SCCA Log BK). The Glasspar was the first production fiberglass car in the world! (One of these cars now sits
on display in the Smithsonian Museum!!!) My car is only one of a VERY FEW to have been raced in
sanctioned events! Car is valued/insured at $60K. With market conditions today - will consider offers
